Early 1990s.

The old building dated back to being the Altman Feed store. Later, it was Dale Moorhead's plumbing shop. The former Mars VFD purchased it, refurbished it, and used it primarily as a garage for the ambulances (the low overhead door clearance didn't allow storage of anything taller than the brush wagon). Because of those size and usage limitations, it was decided to demolish it and rebuild a new truck garage on the existing footprint.

The present structure was used by Mars VFC, then AAFD after the merger, until moving to the new fire station along PA Route 228.
