Community Events
In addition to providing Fire Safety and Education, we also thoroughly enjoy getting out in the community to assist with events. This allows us to get out and meet the community and let them know more about what we do and how they can help. In return for doing community events, our relationship with the residents we support increasingly grows each year. Below are some of the events we typcially attend, but feel free to present any ideas you may have when contacting the station to schedule your event!
Santa Visits - Every year we have a growing number of neighborhoods that request us to bring Santa Claus to them for the children. You pick a date and time and we show up, lights and sirens, with Santa, delivering him for all the children to see and speak with!
Block Parties/Birthday Parties - Having a birthday party for one of your children or is the neighborhood having a block party? We would be more than happy to come spend time with your party and show the guests the fire apparatus and tell them more about us!
Station Tour - We are more than help to give tours of the fire station to indiviuals or groups including daycares, schools, scouts, etc.
Chairty/Touch-A-Truck Events - Having an event and want us to be present? We are more than happy to come out and be apart of it! Tell us what you want us to do while there to make it fit best with your program and we will do our best to accomplish it! Community Days, Kids Carnivals, Open Houses, etc. are just some events to name a few we regularly go to!
