Knox boxes are commonly found throughout the country as emergency key boxes used as a non-destructive way for emergency crews to gain access to your property in case of an emergency. We as firefighters are trained to look for these boxes in the event of an emergency. On our end, we safely secure our knox box keys in each one of our fire department apparatus, only able to be removed by a specific code that is logged each and every time it is used to remove the key. If you do not have a knox box and would like one, the below link will allow you to make your purchase on our district specific knox boxes from our eStore through knoxbox.com.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Captain Doug Mellinger at dmellinger42@adamsarea42.com for further instruction and assistance.
