This weekend, 8 members of the AAFD braved the well-known ever-changing elements of March weather in Western Pennsylvania, contributing to over 160 man-hours of training and education in drenching rain, high winds, freezing temperatures, and white out conditions.

Members FF Michael Beta, FF Andrew Campbell, FF Tyler Cuadrado, LT Taylor Goodlin, FF Dave Greco, FF Zach Pfeifer, and FF Sean Sokolowski attended live-fire training with many other Butler County departments and firefighters at the Butler VA.

CPT Doug Mellinger attended Trench Rescue 2 training hosted by New Salem Fire Department in Fayette County.

This kind of endless dedication to the endless amount of training required to bring aid to our neighbors in their hour of need, no matter the elements they face, is greatly appreciated by the District.
