42 was alerted along with the first alarm assignment, for a report of a Fire Alarm going off, and a smell of smoke in Co. 21’s district. Tower 42 Responded quickly with 6, followed by the Squad. As units were responding, E-21 arrived and found a small fire in the laundry room of the apartment. 42 crews assisted with search, overhaul and utility control. Crews operated for roughly 1 hour.
