42 was alerted along with the first alarm for a reported building on fire in Co. 228’s district. Tower 42 responded with 6, followed by the Chief. T-42 arrived as the first due truck and split, completing a primary search, opening up for the Engine, and Utility Control. The Chief acted as the division supervisor on the 2nd floor. Crews operated for roughly 2 hours before returning to service.
